 In > art culture design

After Jeff Koons, then Xavier Veilhan, Japanese art star Takashi Murakami is invited to invest the hallowed halls of the Versailles Palace for his first major retrospective in France, and will exhibit his works in 15 rooms of the palace, including the King’s and Queen’s apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. About a third of the pieces will be new, produced expecially for the show. The exhibition opens 12 Sep and runs through to 12 Dec 2010.
