ART: Chapuisat Brothers at the Centre Culturel Suisse

 In Events

Swiss-based sibling duo the Chapuisat Brothers make art on the border of monumental sculpture and micro-architecture. Their constructions transform space, turning interior and exterior boundaries inside out and toying with the perception of a subjective reality. They demand visitors’ active participation, putting them into the position of being an explorer. For the CCS, they’ve created an installation inspired by concrete breakwaters of the type Accropode, Brutalist stuctures, which out of their context, evoke post-minimalist sculpture or perhaps space modules…
Until 18 Dec. 10am-6pm. (1-7pm Sat, Sun). Closed Mon.
Centre Culturel Suisse, 34 rue des Francs Bourgeois, 3rd. www.ccsparis.com
