Fashion photography has been defining the canons of female beauty for decades. One of the most widely shared visual cultures in the world, advertising and fashion magazines have also had an impact on contemporary art. This new group show offers a quirky, offbeat view of the aesthetics of the “beautiful woman”  normally conveyed by the world of fashion, with works from: Alex Katz, Juan Francisco Casas, Joséphine Meckseper, Martha Rosler, General Idea, Michel Journiac, Claude Closky, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Marlo Pascual, and Rebecca Bournigault.
