Damir Doma flagship

Up-and-coming Paris based fashion talent Damir Doma quietly opened his first flagship on the weekend (there’s talk of an official inauguration on Sun 1 July, the last day of Men’s Fashion Week). This luxe grotto stretches over 3 compact floors (the 3rd, unfinished, will be reserved for VIP fittings) and is located opposite the Elysée Palace, in a courtyard behind Rue du Faubourg St-Honoré, and just next door to those other fashion iconoclasts Comme des Garçons. Doma’s minimal, mineral universe has been interpreted by March Studio, of Melbourne Australia (who first worked on Aesop‘s Rue St Honoré address), with an understated use of unpolished Travertine marble, copper, leather and raw walls and parquet floor.
