Dries Van Noten x James Reeve at Galerie Joyce

Currently showing in the Galerie Joyce on the Palais Royal is this show presenting the original prints that provided inspiration for Dries Van Noten‘s summer 2012 womenswear collection (btw, his menswear presentation, for fall-winter 2012-13, is tomorrow, 7pm). The photos by James Reeve are presented alongside the shirts, blouses, skirts and accessories sporting the prints. Van Noten discovered Reeves ‘Lightscapes’,  photographs of cities – Beirut, London, Las Vegas&  Marseille – at night, back in 2010 when President of the Hyères fashion and photo festival. Reeves photos transform the lights at night into abstract shapes and forms.
