'PARIS HAUTE COUTURE' AT HOTEL DE VILLE

 In > art culture design

Opening to the public tomorrow is this exhibition celebrating haute couture, with exceptional pieces chosen from among the Galliera museum collections: Dior, Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent, Rochas, Courrèges, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lacroix, Alaïa… Haute couture was born in Paris in the mid-19th century, and the city is still the capital of this special art and luxury industry. This exhibition pays tribute to this little-known world, one of the jewels in the crown of French culture. A catalogue to the show edited by Galliera curators Olivier Saillard and Anne Zazzo will also be available (39.90€).
Until 6 July. 10am-7pm. Closed Sun. Free entry.
Hôtel de Ville, Salle Saint-Jean, 5 rue de Lobau, 4th.
