QUINZAINE DES REALISATEURS AT FORUM DES IMAGES
As soon as Cannes closes, the edgy Directors’ Fortnight program – dedicated to up-and-coming filmmakers – makes the trip to Paris, and is screened in its entirety at the Forum des Images, for the most part prior to the film’s general release. It opens tomorrow with John Boorman’s ‘Queen & Country’, a sequel to his Oscar-nominated ‘Hope and Glory’ (1987), presented in presence of the crew. And don’t miss Thomas Cailley’s début ‘Les Combattants’ (‘Love at First Fight’) on 5 June, which took home all the section’s 3 prizes, a world first!
