The Creators Project is a new international network celebrating creativity and culture across media, and around the world, brought to you by Intel and Vice Magazine. After events in the US and Europe, the project arrives in Paris this week at the Gaîté Lyrique and will present interactive art installations, musical performances, film screenings, panels and more… You’ll get a taste of the innovative works The Creator’s Project will henceforth be producing via their brand new multimillion-dollar global production studio, which will transform the Project from a celebration of creativity into a true patron of the arts. So, there’ll be gigs from musical acts like Squarepusher, Yuksek, and Glasser along with other French DJs that are sure to get the crowds dancing. There’ll be collaborations with multimedia artists like Quayola, Ernesto Klar, Black Dice, SoSoLimited, Electronic Shadow, Lumpens, Yoshi Sodeoka, and Trafik. Plus a number of interactive works from artists including David Bowie, Mick Rock, Barney Clay, and Mark Essen; an installation of Arcade Fire LED beach balls and Animal Collective’s video art from Coachella. There’ll also be film screenings of projects from Spike Jonze, Animal Collective, Adam Traynor, and Chilly Gonzales. And there’ll be a variety of panels and workshops featuring artists like Superscript2. You must register here for the evening film and gig program; daytime panels and exhibitions are open to all.
